    Stella’s Cheese Flan

    Ingredients:
    1 Onion – Finely Chopped
    3 cloves of Garlic – finely chopped
    1/2 to 1 bunch of parsley or fresh basil
    1 egg
    2 – 3 slices of stale or fresh bread
    2 cups grated tasty cheese
    1/2 to 1 cup milk (can use soy, almond or cow)
    Pastry sheets for base and sides
    Salt and Pepper to taste

    Method:
    Grease baking dish (size really depends how much you are making. I used a large square pan, so added extra cheese, 1 more egg and more bread etc

    Mix all other ingredients together in food processor, until it becomes a smooth, thick paste.

    If mixture appears too runny add more bread and cheese.

    Spread mixture onto pastry

    Bake at 200 degrees Celsius until golden. Around 25 minutes

    NOTE: Amounts are very flexible as the mixture can just end up getting deeper if there is too much.
