Chocolate Brownie – Whirlpool Crisp n Grill
180 grams butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate buttons
1 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
4 Eggs
2/3 cups flour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
If cooking in Whirlpool. Preheat crisp dish for 3 minutes.
If cooking in oven, preheat oven to 160 Degrees
Place butter, chocolate and sugar in glass jug in microwave. Cook on slow heat until melted. Approximately 2 minutes on low.
Stir well together until smooth, then add vanilla essence
Leave to cool slightly before adding eggs, one at a time. Beating in 1 egg each time.
Sieve the flour, cocoa and salt together then fold into the wet ingredients.
Pour the batter into the crisp dish if cooking in whirlpool. I sprayed with non-stick spray first.
If cooking in whirlpool cook for 4 – 5 minutes on crisp.
If cooking in conventional oven. Line dish, and cook at 160 for 25 minutes, until just set in centre.
Remove from oven, and cool. Sprinkle with icing sugar, and serve.
