American Chewy Biscuits (from Emz Uni Book)
2 cups flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
185 grams butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips
Mix flour, baking soda and salt
In another bowl combine the rest.
Add dry stuff to wet stuff in bits until mixed
Stir in chocolate chips
Chill for an hour in the fridge.
Baked at 165 celcius for 10 minutes, removing once they have risen and the tiniest bits are starting to brown.
Let cook for five minutes before moving or they will fall apart.
