Very easy to make. you can simmer them, or pan fry, or a mix of both.<br \/>\nThey freeze well if you to put them away for later<\/p>\n<p>1 Packet of Dumpling Wrappers &#8211; 50 wrappers. We got these from Kosco, fresh, in the refrigerator<\/p>\n<p>Filling:<br \/>\n400 grams lean Pork or Chicken mince<br \/>\n1\/2 Bunch of chives, finely chopped<br \/>\n2 cups of finely chopped cabbage, sprinkled with salt to take the moisture out<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon grated fresh ginger<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Worcester Sauce<br \/>\n2 Teaspoons Sesame Oil<br \/>\nSalt and Pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare the cabbage.  Dice the cabbage finely. Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt of over and leave for 10 minutes.  After that, squeeze the cabbage with your hands to remove any moisture.<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl combine mince, chives, cabbage, ginger, soy sauce, Worcester Sauce, Sesame Oil, Ginger, Salt and Pepper. Mix well with your hands.<\/p>\n<p>Dry your hands well. Place a wrapper on one hand and put a teaspoonful of the mix in the centre.  Brush around the edge of the wrapper with cold water.<\/p>\n<p>Make a semi circle by folding the wrapper with contents in half.  Using your fingers, pinch the open sides of the wrapper together and seal the top.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking Options:<\/p>\n<p>Bring water or stock to the boil in a pot. Drop in about 12 dumplings, simmer for 6 minutes. Take them out with a spoon with holes. Place carefully on paper towels for a short time.<\/p>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a pan.  Lightly brown the dumplings.
