In a wide, heavy frypan, mix the peanuts with the sugar and water.  Cook the ingredients over moderate heat.  Stir frequently, until the liquid dries up (this took me ages)<br \/>\n2. Using a metal spoon, keep stirring and scraping the pan over a low heat until the peanuts are golden brown. (again &#8211; this took ages)<br \/>\n3. Remove from heat and then sprinkle with salt and cinnamon.<br \/>\n4. Toss nuts for a further 5 mins as they cool.
