{"id":237,"date":"2013-10-17T08:45:32","date_gmt":"2013-10-17T08:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/debskitchen.co.nz\/?p=237"},"modified":"2013-10-17T08:45:32","modified_gmt":"2013-10-17T08:45:32","slug":"jaffa-thin-cheesecake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/debskitchen.co.nz\/?p=237","title":{"rendered":"Jaffa Thin Cheesecake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jaffa thin cheesecake<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>Base:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\t2 packs of Jaffa Thins<br \/>\n\u2022\t50-70 grams butter, melted (margarine would do)<br \/>\n\u2022\tFilling:<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 to 2 pottles Tararua cheesecake filling, depending how thick you want the filling<br \/>\n\u2022\t500 grams Greek Yoghurt per pottle of Tararua cheesecake filling<br \/>\n\u2022\tTopping:<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 pack pureed fruit, you can buy the commercial ones like, squirts, you can get them in different flavours so        you can mix and match your fillings.<br \/>\n\u2022\teg. The krispie base goes well with a ganache topping,<br \/>\n\u2022\tyou can even add the ganache into the filling if you don&#8217;t mind the extra kj&#8217;s.<br \/>\n\u2022\tToffee pops are nice with a caramel topping etc.<br \/>\n        <strong>Directions<\/strong><br \/>\n1.\tBase:<br \/>\n2.\tProcess the biscuits, until the desired crumb is reached,<br \/>\n3.\teg. for the toffee pops and mint biscuits, I left more chunks in it,<br \/>\n4.\tCombine the butter into the biscuit crumbs and press into a suitable dish.<br \/>\n5.\tNow chill until you have prepared the filling.<br \/>\n6.\t<strong>Filling:<\/strong><br \/>\n7.\tMicrowave the Tararua cheesecake filling for approx 30 to 50 seconds or until the filling gives slightly and is easy to beat with a fork,<br \/>\n8.\tblend in the yoghurt until smooth.<br \/>\n9.\tNote: If you are doing a berry cheesecake you can use the strawberry flavoured Greek yoghurt and the strawberry fruit puree for the topping, otherwise use the natural.<br \/>\n10.\tPour the filling onto the base and chill in the refrigerator while you clean up!
