The oil which the Labneh sits in can be used later in dressings etc.<\/p>\n<p>2 kg Greek yoghurt<br \/>\n75 mls extra virgin olive oil<br \/>\n1 tablespoon salt<br \/>\n1 juice of a lemon, and rind grated<br \/>\n1 tablespoon chopped thyme or oregano or majoram or basil<br \/>\nChicken stock<br \/>\nSalt mix \u2013 eg Moroccan salt<\/p>\n<p>Mix all together well, pour into a colander lined with muslin<br \/>\nTie the muslin to form a bag<br \/>\nHang the yoghurt mix for 2 days in fridge, placing a bowl underneath to catch liquid.<br \/>\nAfter 2 days remove the Labneh, and roll into walnut sized balls.<\/p>\n<p>Place in a jar and cover with a light olive oil<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Labneh (yoghurt cheese) Labneh is ready to eat immediately, but impoves after a couple of days.
