{"id":1192,"date":"2020-12-05T20:49:58","date_gmt":"2020-12-05T07:49:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/debskitchen.co.nz\/?p=1192"},"modified":"2020-12-11T08:51:43","modified_gmt":"2020-12-10T19:51:43","slug":"bombay-potatoes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/debskitchen.co.nz\/?p=1192","title":{"rendered":"Bombay Potatoes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bombay Potatoes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<p>600 Grams Potatoes, cleaned and peeled, and cut into cubes<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Nigella Seeds<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Mustard Seeds (Black if you can get them)<br \/>\n1\/2 Tablespoon Asafetida<br \/>\n1 teaspoon finely chopped Fresh Ginger<br \/>\n2 cloves finely minced garlic<br \/>\n1 Onion finely chopped<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Turmeric<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Cumin Powder<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon Salt<br \/>\n1 teaspoon white pepper<br \/>\n2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Fennel Seed<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Garam Masala<\/p>\n<p>Heat a little oil in a frypan, add Nigella and Mustard seed for about 30 seconds.<br \/>\nAdd asafetida, ginger and garlic for about 30 seconds, and then add onion.<br \/>\nCook for a few minutes, until onion is translucent.<\/p>\n<p>Add Turmeric, Cumin and Coriander and Salt &#038; Pepper to taste.<\/p>\n<p>Add Cubed potatoes and mix well.  Cook covered on a medium heat until potatoes are half done.
