{"id":1096,"date":"2020-04-09T13:53:57","date_gmt":"2020-04-09T01:53:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/debskitchen.co.nz\/?p=1096"},"modified":"2020-04-09T13:53:57","modified_gmt":"2020-04-09T01:53:57","slug":"emmas-naan-bread-makes-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/debskitchen.co.nz\/?p=1096","title":{"rendered":"Emma&#8217;s Naan Bread &#8211; Makes 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Emma\u2019s Naan Bread (Makes 8 Naan)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 \u00bd Cups Warm Water<br \/>\n1 Tablespooon Sugar<br \/>\n2 Teaspoons Active Dry Yeast<br \/>\n1 teaspoon Salt<br \/>\n3 Cups Flour (Plus a few tablespoons for bench)<br \/>\nCombine warm water, sugar and yeast in a bowl.  Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.<\/p>\n<p>Add salt and flour.  Mix thoroughly.  Knead dough on a floured bench about 20 times and form into a tight ball.  Put dough in a well oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel.<\/p>\n<p>Put in a warm place to rise for 35 \u2013 45 mins.  Dough will not rise much, but it doesn\u2019t need too<\/p>\n<p>Turn Dough on to a floured Bench and divide into 8 pieces. Roughly roll out to 1\/8 inch thick.<\/p>\n<p>Grill or cook naan in a frypan for 1 \u2013 2 minutes each side.
